the Outdoor Inn
The Outdoor
Inn, formally known as the Tarry Motel, is owned and operated (as of
August 2006) by Rick and Karen Delamater. We have 11 units and are
located ¼ mile south
of Baldwin on the east side of M-37 near the Pere Marquette River. Click

Surrounded
by more than a quarter of a million acres of the Manistee National
Forest, the OUTDOOR INN is located in Lake
County, boasting 156 lakes, 46 trout streams, four major rivers,
including the world renowned Pere Marquette River, a national scenic & wildlife
river.

  

  
The
Outdoor Inn is open year round. We cater to outdoor enthusiasts… as
Northern Michigan offers ample opportunities for fishing,
hunting, canoeing, hiking, bicycling, snowmobiling and dog sledding.
Our grounds contain a large paved parking lot with auxiliary lot

With the
outdoor entusiast in mind, our grounds
include amenities to make your stay enjoyable. We offer a
fish cleaning station, an archery target, a gas grill, a fire pit (with
wood provided), and horseshoe pits.
